Gotta give a shout out to fellow Chicagoan author Chantel Ferraro ( tillys.stories on the socials) who wrote this fantastic book: The Only Girl on the Floor.
It’s a memoir she wrote about her life and how she overcame all the trials, tests, and obstacles in her life, growing up in Chicago. Abuse, weight issues, trauma, she’s been there, and done that. Although her story is deep, sad, and you feel all the emotions page after page, you also feel the triumph that overcame it all. She’s a strong one, lemme tell ya.
